Students in Manila are making great strides in science and technology, thanks to the collaboration between ChildFund Philippines and EXL Philippines. Through this partnership, schools now have access to robotics kits, printers, Google TVs, and advanced STEM laboratory tools—giving learners new opportunities to develop critical skills and explore innovative solutions.
These resources have fueled outstanding success in various competitions. At Manuel G. Araullo High School, our learners showcased their brilliance at the Brainiac Year 2 Robotics Challenge, winning the championship title in the Advanced Level category. They also secured fourth place in the Robotics Design Concept category and third place in the Entry Level category. Their innovation and dedication were further recognized at the Division Science and Technology Fair, where they won first place in the Senior High Innovation category and first in Robotics and Intelligent Machines.
Students from V. Mapa High School have also made us proud, earning second place in both the Physical Science Individual category and the Robotics Team category at the Division Science and Technology Fair. These outstanding accomplishments highlight the limitless potential of students when provided with the right tools and opportunities.
Beyond the awards, these milestones reflect the growing confidence, creativity, and ambition of our learners. Many have discovered new passions and aspirations through these experiences, setting them on a path toward greater success. Our teachers, too, have embraced this transformation. With training and support, they have integrated technology into their lessons, making learning more dynamic and engaging.
