ChildFund Philippines in collaboration with Ha Uman Assn Inc., introduced Project RAMDAM (Resource Allocation Management, Distribution, and Monitoring) – a cutting-edge app designed to streamline disaster management efforts, in six partner municipalities: Midsayap and Alamada in Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Upi in Maguindanao, and Tantangan and Tupi in South Cotabato, on June 14, 2023, at Koronadal City.
Project RAMDAM is a game-changing system developed by Geographic Innovations for Development Solutions, Inc. (GrIDS) in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), with generous funding support from ChildFund Philippines. Designed to aid both Municipal and Barangay units, this COVID-19 initiative includes a mobile app and a web portal. Its core functionality lies in interactive visualization, transparent reporting, and updated monitoring with resident feedback and request mechanisms, enabling swift responses to distressed communities and individuals.
Through Project RAMDAM, LGUs and residents can share accurate information about relief packs and cash assistance distribution, ensuring a more efficient and effective disaster response.
The Regional Social Development Committee (RSDC) XII Chairperson, Carlito Y. Uy, expressed wholehearted support for this initiative. He emphasized the value of digital innovation and the importance of a tool that benefits all, hoping that more partners will adopt this app, providing a quick dashboard for smart planners.
