Last May 9, ChildFund Philippines and EXL Service Philippines Inc. came together to ink an agreement for a joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aiming to ignite young minds and empower the future through cutting-edge STEM programs at Manuel A. Roxas High School (MARHS) in Manila.
The signing ceremony was graced by representatives of ChildFund, EXL, GEMS Heart and the Department of Education and participated by 26 employee volunteers from EXL and 20 students and faculty members of Manuel A. Roxas High School.
The partnership which received a collective commitment among its key players, shares a vision to increase students’ interest and performance in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by equipping pilot schools with modern facilities, hands-on resources, and world-class STEM tools. The goal is to foster curiosity, cultivate innovative thinking, and pave the way for the next generation of trailblazers.
During the closing remarks, CEO Rohit Kapoor declared that this partnership is just the beginning of an enduring journey.
Both ChildFund and EXL are poised to embark on a transformative mission, pledging to create more meaningful engagements in the future.
